When it's cavolo nero season I'm always thrilled - this is a cosy but fresh cavolo nero and chickpea stew topped with stracciatella, plenty of lemon, olive oil and chilli and it is divine!

  • 1 jar of chickpeas (700g)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 0.5 a white onion
  • 1 chilli
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 heaped tbsp stracciatella or other soft cheese (mozzarella/ricotta)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
